Our family-friendly restaurant is located in the heart of Budapest, where we welcome everyone. We are proud to contribute to the popularization of Hungarian cuisine and culture with our traditional Hungarian dishes and pleasant atmosphere.

Our little story dates back to 1985, when I, who was a lover of Hungarian food myself, had the desire to serve the most delicious recipes to gourmets like me. That's when I approached Katalin, my sister, who was also a fan of Hungarian flavors. We started a small restaurant that only offered takeaway food. Seeing the love of the city for Hungarian food, we expanded our team with 8 more chefs from different parts of the country to diversify the menu and make it possible to eat on site. Since then, we have been known as the best restaurant in the city, serving more than 1000 customers daily. With all the love we have received, we continue to strive to provide the best.

The key to the success of the "Hungarian Tastes" restaurant is its competent and enthusiastic staff. All members of the restaurant team are dedicated to providing high quality service and guest satisfaction.

Steve Goulash: With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, István is the founder and owner of the "Hungarian Tastes" restaurant. He is responsible for managing the business and sourcing quality ingredients.

Kate Goulash: Kate is the other founder and owner, responsible for the marketing of the restaurant and the organisation of events.

Adam Slovak: Adam is the chef in charge of the restaurant's kitchen, with more than 15 years of experience in Hungarian cuisine. He is responsible for the menu, the preparation of the dishes and the supervision of the kitchen staff.
